Pastry Piping Tubes - Star Sizes 3 - 17

For all your pastry piping needs

These pastry tubes are our go to for piping cupcake swirls, pastries or fillings. The  durable polypropylene nozzle is designed for precision. Super strong, dishwasher safe, and resistant to fats, oils, and detergents, it is suitable for all food contact applications and can be sterilised with boiling water.

Manufactured in Australia for professional quality and reliability.

Boil to sterilise.

For a size 3 star nozzle, the centre opening is 3mm, but the full width from point to point is slightly larger due to the ridged design. This applies to all sizes—the number refers to the mm size of the base opening, while the overall piped shape will be a bit wider.

Size: 3

I need a round piping tip to make macaroons. I’m looking at 1cm and 1.5cm..what number tip am I looking for.
I am also making some Viennese shortbread fingers..what size tip do I need
Thanks

Hi Susan! For macarons, you need the round pastry nozzles which you can find here : https://studiocakes.com.au/products/loyal-plastic-decorating-tip-11

The number 11 nozzle is 1cm diameter, and the number 15 nozzle is 1.5 cm diameter.

Regarding piping Viennese fingers, most people prefer these star nozzles. A medium size will be sufficient, perhaps the number 9 to get you started.

Happy baking!
